Creative Production
With over 20 years of experience across visual arts, ceramics, community arts, and adult art education, I bring a multidisciplinary and outcomes-driven approach to creative production. My career spans senior leadership roles in arts education, curriculum development, public art advisory, and arts governance, alongside an internationally recognised visual arts practice.
I have successfully led and delivered complex, cross-disciplinary projects that integrate education, community engagement, and cultural development. As Project Manager for the Museum Collections Management initiative (TAFE NSW in collaboration with Create NSW and Museums & Galleries of NSW), I oversaw state-wide stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project governance—achieving all deliverables on time and within budget.
In my role as Head Teacher of Fine Arts and Ceramics at TAFE NSW, I managed multi-campus delivery across TAFE, non-TAFE, and virtual locations, supporting over 30 staff and hundreds of students annually. I developed and implemented curriculum innovations and strategic partnerships with organisations such as Mission Australia, Ability Links, St Vincent de Paul, Northcotte, ACFIPS, and local councils, resulting in expanded access to arts education and community-based training programs.
My leadership in arts governance includes serving as a Board Member for Hazelhurst Arts Centre Sub Committee and as a Panel Member for the Public Art Advisory at Georges River Council, where I contributed to policy development and public art implementation across the LGA. I also serve as the Executive Secretary of the Australian Watercolour Institute, supporting international exhibitions and stakeholder engagement across Australia, Italy, Taiwan, China and Mexico.
In August 2025, I participated as an Australian Cultural Delegate in a cultural exchange facilitated by the Guangxi Regional Department of Culture and Tourism & the China Cultural Centre Sydney. This experience has led to the development of long-term collaborative projects with artists, universities, and cultural offices in China and Australia. These projects focus on intercultural dialogue, creative production, and cultural development—exploring how traditional and contemporary practices from Eastern and Western contexts can intersect to address shared global concerns. This work continues to evolve and informs my current artistic direction and collaborative approach.
My ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and engage stakeholders has consistently resulted in high-impact, culturally relevant programs. I am passionate about fostering collaboration, innovation, and intercultural exchange—creating platforms where artists, educators, and communities can co-create meaningful work that reflects diverse perspectives and addresses global challenges such as climate change.
